Chantix and Wrinkles

I was wondering if anyone out there taking Chantix has noticed more WRINKLES? Whenever I have quit smoking cold turkey (never for more than a couple weeks or so), I always noticed that the wrinkles beneath my eyes seemed better. I have been on Chantix and SMOKE-FREE for 11 weeks now! BUT... I have noticed the wrinkles are worse! Could this be a temporary side effect of the drug or just a side effect of GETTING OLDER????

Re: Chantix and Wrinkles

Well, I have only been on Chantix for 3 weeks but I haven't noticed an increase in wrinkles. I also haven't heard of anyone else with this complaint. I know smoking causes wrinkles but I'm not sure how Chantix would cause them

Re: Chantix and Wrinkles

I took Chantix for a little over four months and have been quit now for over nine months. About 90% of all my wrinkles disappeared since then. Not sure why I was so surprised by that. Smoking dries out your skin something awful and causes premature wrinkles. It is horrible for your skin and veins to say the least. I honestly think you will see the wrinkles disappear as your skin heals. Oh, and Chantix does nothing for your skin. Unfortunately, no fountain of youth can be found with that medicine.
