anti depressents and chantix
Hi I am new to this, I am suppose to start taking chantix tommorow, my doctor okayed it, I am on anti depressents(trileptal, abilify, fluoxamine and lamictal), he said it was okay but i have read a lot of stories that have scared me. Has anyone been taking chantix while on anti depressents?

I would like to know more about this too. I've never taken any type of anti depressents and never had any bouts of depression. But now, day 7 taking Chantix (cut back on cigs but still smoking 10 a day) I'm feeling so gloomy and depressed! I just can't seem to shake it off. Anyone else have depression whil on Chantix? Maybe I need an anti-depressent!

Yes, at the moment I am taking Champix (Chantix) and Luvox (Fluvoxamine ). There have been no problems for me.

Currently on day 8 of chantix and have been taking cymbalta for several months.
I have a feeling the chantix may bring up anxiety a notch or two. Not enough for me to give up on quitting.
