link between extended use of nicotine gum and blood sugar levels?
My husband has no symptoms of diabetes but had a blood sugar level of over 300. He has been a user of nictotine gum for over 5 years and chews it nearly constantly throughout the day. I have read of one study that links the two. Has anyone heard of or experienced onset of elevated blood sugar levels in association with extended use of nicotine gum?
