Although in the last 7 1/2 months since I quit I've gained weight I don't know that I can it's from the Chantix. I gained weight when I quit the first time many years ago using the patch. I personally believe that smoking keeps your metabolizm in gear and when you quit, it slowssssssss wayyyyyyyyyyy down. I hate the extra weight but I hated smoking more. I know that when I decide to take the extra weight off, I'll be able to exercise and breath which is a real plus!
