I am smoking in my dreams... - Smoking Cessation Message Board

I had to quit smoking recently, and have started having dreams in which I am smoking! One was so real, I woke up with my hand in that position like you are holding a cigarette. I startled because I thought "Oh no, I am going to start my bed on fire!" but then realized that it was a dream.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes! I have been off cigarettes for going on 3 years and I dream I am still smoking. In most of the dreams I am mad at myself for smoking and realize that I will just have to stop again. I didn't have them in the beginning but lately I have been having them alot. I don't know why. Godbless
