I stopped smoking cold turkey 2 weeks ago. I have no craving for a cigarette but I am feeling a bit odd. A little foggy-headed, difficulty concentrating, waking up in the night disorientated and even a bit of anxiety. Again, I do not feel like smoking but wondered if anyone else has experienced this?
Congratulations on quitting smoking!! It's normal to feel a little fuzzy-headed after you quit, nicotine is an upper, so while your body is detoxing, it will take some time to adjust. If you continue to wake up in the middle of the night, I would recommend talking to your doctor. During the day, keep yourself busy, make sure you're getting enough fresh air, exercize and water to help detox. Good luck and let us know how you are doing!
