Thumbs up Day4

Going cold turkey, have tried everything under the sun before, nothing worked except lozenges but then I think I became hooked on them, always thought going cold turkey would be impossible,it's hard but not impossible.Smoked for 42 years, being smoke free for 4 days ,like to read everyone else stories. My reason for quiting, reoccuring bladder tumors and promise to my surgeon

Re: Day4

Would like to read a followup story to some of these people see how they are doing. Need to find a live chat room for people quitting. Wait might be a load of arguing with everyone quitting.

Just hit day 4 myself Simba so I am behind you by a few days.
I smoked for about 35 years, i calculate about 20 to 23 pack years...but who's counting?
I have actually quite before (about 5 times I think) on average only lasted 6 months to a year. Never easy...cigarettes are a crafty opponent.
I am at the point though where I really don't want to smoke anymore, getting a little older and enjoying it less.
Well, here comes day 5...hope you have held strong Simba.
