Hey everybody!! Well, I was one of the ones back here in January that was quitting too...and look at us now..I quit on January 13th, a little later than a few of the others here, but I haven't looked back yet!! It's been hard and I've thought about it a lot, but I decided I wasn't going to do it anymore, that was my final decision, and here I am still going strong.

I gained about 20 pounds I'd say, but I figure all of us who have gained a bit of weight can all lose it too, we've already begun the hard part right?!?!

Even with all the stress I've been through in the last little while with moving and changing jobs and the kids, I'm still doing ok..and I hope each and every one of you are doing as well.

SO...everybody out there who's quit or is trying to quit...give yourselves a big pat on the back for making the effort!!! We're all doing great!!

Hey Jessa, way to go. I too am one of those from months before. My quit date was Jan 2, and I have also succeeded. It has been hard mind you, but I just knew I had reached the end of my life as a smoker. I have also gain weight 20+ lbs, but I don't really give a damn. I feel great physically, have started running and weight training and have really established and conquered some new goals. It is really quite amazing how liberating the quitting process is. Good for you for staying strong. Keep it up.
