I quit smoking about three weeks ago! Hopefully for good. I quit because I saw that my skin was losing its elasticty (I'm only 24, I've smoked for almost ten years). I was so upset that I decided it was time to quit or else! My skin is so much better! Ýt feels more flexible and the yellow/grey color around my mouth and all over is still going away, but the worst is gone! My hands and face espacially were so dry that nothing would help, even vaseline. Now I use creams and my skin is hydrated, but if I smoke even one cigarette in a day my skin gets messed up, so I take a warm bath before bed and put cream everywhere and its much better by the morning. I quit one day by sleeping or resting the entire day, no cigarettes, no TV, no stress. Then after the getting through the next morning (skip the coffee, it will make you crae a cig.)I was already happy with the improvements in my skin, lungs, and back pain that I made up my mind to stay clean. Good luck and YES your skin will become hydrated!
