i just quit a few months ago.. get catnip, and rolling papers.. really.. when you want a 'cig', roll a fake one.. after a bit, your mind goes "want cig.. *thinks about catnip-cig* nah.. that is really unsatisfying.." and DONT keep ANY around.. if they're there, you'll smoke 'em.. and you will always like smoking.. i still remember it fondly.. but your withdrawl will taper off and disappear.. i still want a cig.. i just can say 'no' comfortably now.. during the first month it is hell on earth, BUT IT IS SOOOOOO WORTH IT!! i do yoga now, i can even RUN without coughing or feeling fatalistic about my health.. being able to work an entire shift and not 'need' to go outside in the rain and get dizzy from that 'first one in a while' cig..
i used to smoke djarum clove cigs.. one of the highest concentrations of nicotine, and i say that now because i had no idea when i started how addictive they were and how terrible.. when i read how bad they were for me in an artice recently, i rejoiced internally for my triumph over the terrible addiction..
it is the most addictive drug on the planet, but we are stronger than any addiction.. put your mind, body and soul into it.. do it for your child.. PUT THEM DOWM and NEVER pick them up again, and DO it.. dont give in.. you Can Say No.. it hurts.. badly.. but it does get easier after the first week.. then slowly better and better.. i still want to smoke.. i just dont..
good luck in your struggle..
