Question simply "old age"?

I know a senior citizen (woman) who constantly uses the "f" word. She also repeats the same stories over and over again. Could this be some form of dementia or Alzheimer's disease? She also falls a lot and seems very uncoordinated, and has problems sleeping.

Yes it could be. What your friend needs is 24/7 care; for her safety.
