Teen w/ expressive language disorder
Is speech/language therapy the only intervention used for Expressive Language Disorder? Surely, we know the area of the brain that is hindered and we can work on that area. My son is 16 and it seems as though we are at the end of what modern science can do. Even though I know all the info/stuff is in his brain, he cannot get it out. He will be considered dumb the rest of his life just because he can't communicate quickly or clearly.
Any advice out there to meet the struggles of an adolescent with this problem?
