need advice - Spinal Cord Disorders Message Board

this wednesday i had a lightning attack across my right to left under my shoulderblades that caused me to loose all function and i dropped like a bag of potatoes. 10 min. later i was fine but in enormous pain. later that afternoon i was litteraly sick. coughing, stuffy nose the whole nine yards and its getting worse. the point were the strike hit is still in pain. is their anything
related to the two, because i was fine untill that?
any reply would be helpful.

Wow, you got hit by lightening?
I would go see a doctor. Who knows what the effect of that much electricity can have on the body.
Better safe than sorry.

no i had a attack on my back that alot of people call lightning attack. it simply meens a very painful episode with my back. pain, spasms,numbness,ect. sorry you thought different

you know I wasn't sure, but I took a 50/50 shot. My advice would still be the same. Go see your doctor. Sorry to hear you're in pain, but glad you didn't get struck by lightening. I really am not a complete idiot, even though I sound like one with this post

well today i went to a speacialist and they said i have a heart and lung infection.
also my thorasic disc are slipped. having an mri and a full body x-rays to find out how bad the progressions has gotten. pray for me all for i am scared as ever.
