I need some help STAYING ASLEEP FOR 8 HRS after having neck surgeries.

I currently take 10mg of Elavil about 3+ hrs before bedtime to KEEP ME ASLEEP AND 1/2mg Klonopin to KNOCK ME OUT at about 2 hrs before bed.

I want to get rid of these prescription drugs and use over-the-counter supplements.

I think I might be able to replace the Klonopin with Melatonin that will KNOCK ME OUT. But, I have NOT found anything that will KEEP ME sleeping continuously for 8 hrs. Subsituting 5HTP is not working as well as the Elavil.

Any suggestions of a medication to replace Elavil that will KEEP ME ASLEEP for about 8 hrs?
