Here I go again
After a less than stellar recovery following ACDF in 2002, I was told by two surgeons (one being the doc who did the fusion) that I needed a foramenotomy. I was in NO hurry to go through any further surgery and so I've lived with the pain and other symptoms ever since.
Now, I am having more neck issues. It feels like something sharp is in the middle of the back of my neck at times, and like it catches on something. I'm sure that isn't a good sign. Also, the tingling and pain in the scapular area is increasing.
I finally admitted to my spouse that I'm feeling bad enough to explore the problem again. I will be seeing my GP in about a week, following up on heel pain and this lump in my elbow we're trying to diagnose. I am not looking forward to the medical merry-go-round starting again, but I sure do feel like I've fallen off the horse!
