Glucosamine/Chondroitin OK after ACDF?

Does anyone here know if glucosamine and chondroitin are ok after having ACDF? I know MSM cant be good because that is an anti-inflammatory. I am thinking they are OK, and have been taking it, but I got to wondering tonight as I popped them in my mouth.

Re: Glucosamine/Chondroitin OK after ACDF?

Hi Skz,

I can't say for a fact, because I haven't taken them. But I have read several posts on the back board about them being good for you after surgery. My son had a ankle fusion and his ortho recommended it. He ended up having alot of other stuff going on, so he never got around to taking it.

Sorry I can't help you much.

Take care,
