Help! Just got my Records and don't understand what it means.
I haved just gotten my records from the neurologist and can't understand any of it. (I posted my history/symptoms under brain and nervous system as I am not sure where it falls)
Ok here goes:
MRI shows some straightening of the cervical lordosis with a mild disk osteophyte at C3-4 and a minimal high signal to the left of the midline at C3-4 seen on axial sections on T2 weighted images without mass effect. This is thought possibly to be lesion such as demyelination lesion. MRI of the thoracic spine shoed some mild protruding disk but no herniated disk or spinal stenosis.
Second MRI shows:
small triangular area of white matter disease in the osterior right temporal lobe. This abnormality measures approximately 3 to 4 mm in greatest dimension,. No abnormal enhancement. Gray-white differentiation otherwise normal. No abnormal enhancement after administration of gadolinium.
EMG and NCV study:
Left triceps had normal insertional activity and 1-2+ long duration in polyphasic's and mild volitional effort with reduced interference pattern and the flexor carpi ulnaris had normal insertional activity and 1+ long duration in polyphasic's and a mild volitional effort with reduced interference patterns and the lower cervical paraspinals on the left had normal insertional activity and 1+ long duration in polyphasic's and a mild volitional effort.
Not sure if this is English it all sounds Greek to me.
Is this bad or Good?
Can anyone make sense of this stuff?
