I have artritis in my c-spine..here lately I've been getting other symptoms other then neck and left arm pain..also been having left knee pain and every once in awhile my right leg will beginn to shake this scares me because it makes me feel there is something more wrong with me other then just artritis..has anyone else has had this to happened to them??thanks for all of ya'lls wonderful help
Truthseeker, have you had a surgery recently? I would notice that my left leg would get fatigued easily and would start to shake when I was sitting down and lifted the foot up a little. Aside from that, a few weeks after my surgery I told my surgeon that it would feel like my legs were getting weak the more I walked and he told me this was normal.
Have you had recent MRI? Two things come to mind -- first, youi could have problems in you lumbar spine that have been previously undiagnosed. All my prior MRIs were cervical, but recently had lumbar as well, which showed problems L5-S1. This can cause problems as you describe.
Second possibility is that your cervical problems are putting pressure on the spinal cord. This can also cause leg problems, trouble walking, urinary/bowel problems, etc.
I haven't had any surgery
I had a mri done without dye a few months ago on my neck and this is what they seen
there are degenerative changes within the cervical spine with minimal spondylosis, mild facet arthropathy and mild uncovertebral hypertrophy. There is no significant focal laterzlizing disc herniation, spinal canal stenosis or neural foraminal narrowing identified. There is a small region of increased T/2stir signal and decreased T1 signal along the posterior margin of the trachea at the thoracic inlet. This measures roughly 3mm APx 1.3cm CC.Images through the posterior cranial fossa are unremarkable. There is mild mucosal thinkening within the right maxillary sinus
I would suggest seeing your primary doc and/or a neurologist about this issue you are having, its possible you have some sort of neurological issues or even something completely unrelated going on, they would proabably have to run more tests on you to try and get to the bottom of it all. Good luck to you and many blessings. Keep us posted on the situation
