Grade I near II spondylolthesis

I have been diagnosed with Grade I near Grade II spondylolthesis at the L5-S1 level. I have just started Physical Therapy. I remain a little skeptical that this will fix me. I also have an order for a Nerve Root Block. I know that surgery is not necessary at this time, but remains an option. Does anyone else have these issues that can offer some advice. My thinking is "Why not fix it before further slippage occurs.?" I work at an all natural petfood store and lift anywhere from 2o to 40 pounds. (Although, not as much since my diagnosis) I look forward to chatting with anyone regarding these issues.
