I had two MRIs done, one on the thoracic, and I thought I'd post the MRI report here just to see if anyone had similar reports come up on them and what their eventual treatment was. I know everyone is different, but I'm not seeing the OS till the 27th and I'm trying to be super-prepared when I get in there!
"There is mild posterior disc bulging at the T11-12 leve.
A thin band of enhancing tissue is noted adjacent to the left posterior aspect of the T7-8 disc which exhibits mild posterior disc bulging. The exact etiology of this finding is uncertain, possibly reactive in nature. Together this process mildy impresses upon the left anterior aspect of the adjacent thoracic cord.
The thoracic cord is intrinsically unremarkable.
Additional note is made of signal alteriation within the cerebral spinal fluid of the mid thoracic region posterior to the thoracic cord. This appearance is likely related to a pulsation artifact.
IMPRESSION:
Disc bulging as described.
Thin band of enhancing tissue is noted adjacent to the left posterior aspect of the T7-8 disc which together with mild disc bulging, mildy impresses upon the adjacent thoracic cord. The exact etiology of this finding is uncertain and while possibly reactive in nature, other differential considerations including an en plaque meningioma cannot be completely excluded."
