yes you can have problems with no injury, and you can also have problems with a prior injury from many years ago.
I would recommend two things. One, a general blood workup from your primary doctor, and have them check your sedementation rate as a start. this will give them information if a general inflammation is going on, like a start of some other disease process like general arthritis.
Second, I would ask them to do an xray of your neck, and possibly try to get them to do cervical MRI, or a referral. Sometimes they don't like to order MRI right away until they have looked at xray. Be persistant if your primary doc gives you pushback.
thank you all for your replys it really does mean alot to me..I'm going to talk to my reg dr about all the things y'all said PearlDoves and neckpatient I'm going to get him to refer me to Neurologist or Rheumatologist ..and see about him doing blood work as well..Im all so thinking I might need something for depression I've never had depression before but with all these problems I think I'm starting too
What you wrote sounds so familiar to me! I felt all of that and for years went to specialists trying to treat each symptom seperately...till I went to the rhuematologist...I have fibromyalgia (but you need to do blood work up to eliminate lupus and other possibilities)..also have arthritis and some cervical problems, but...DO go and get more consults, have the blood work done and Do Not Give Up till you get answers! Good Luck and keep Smiling!
mepa49....The doctor did say it could be fibromyalgia, that might be what it is..I really don't think it's lupus even though I do have some of the symptoms.I don't have the rashes or hairloss ect..my grandmothers twin sister had it.thats why a family member said it could be that...alot of these symptoms could be a number of things because so many of them have some of the same symptoms
