TRANS1 Lumbar Interbody fusion

TRANS1 Lumbar Interbody fusion

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am scheduled for a minimally invasive procedure called TRANS1 Lumbar Interbody fusion. This will be a single level fusion, using bone material from my illiac crest (hip) I have DDD with no disk left at L5S1. I have had low back pain with radicular pain in right leg for 2 years. I have tried all conservative therapies and neuro says this is only option left.

Since this is a new type of surgery would love to hear from anyone who has had this surgery. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I am scheduled for surgery in one week...April 2nd and scared out of my wits.
