Hi all,
I am 11 weeks post op (ACDF c5-c7). I can finally say that I am having more good days than bad days! Its been 5 years since I could say that. I think the P.T. that I see is really good and the exercise program I am doing at home is really helping TONS. Its a big commitment, but well worth it, as far as time goes. I also think the osteopath that I am seeing once a week is doing me alot of good, too. She has been doing some stuff for my screwed up sacrum that I injured 6 years ago when I fell on ice. Its so nice to finally have a high quality medical team. It took me 5 yrs. but I finally got there. Its a pleasure not to have anxiety from the doctors anymore. They used to drive me nuts because they never really GOT my pain. Anyway, I think the real test will be when I go to NYC and Washington DC in May and run around for 8 days straight. Hopefully the plane ride wont kill me from sitting too long. It feels really good to be among the LIVING again, as I like to call it.
