Vax-D, DRX-9000 results anyone?

Hello all you achy people,
This is after the fact and all, but I was wondering if anyone has tried these?
The Pain Doc who I respect immensly, suggested I do the DRX. The price was 16k for 8 weeks of treatment.
The catch was that my active(? not quite yet) lifestyle was over. He said it would relieve the symptoms, but no more Rugby.. Thats a joke! Watch it, but I don't do it. I would have to stop doing other things however. Which was out of the question.
I was just wondering if anyone tried?
Regards,
Ice

Hi Ice

Ck out my post further down on "silly therapies I have done"

DRX9000 cervical spine was a HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
$4000 DOWN THE TUBES.

The only "good " thing I can say is it makes chiros a fortune....good for them not for us.

No relief .....ended up with ACDF surgery.

That's my opinion

Re: Vax-D, DRX-9000 results anyone?

I had the stretching therapy. It was a monumental waste of time and had no benefit for me. I had six weeks for my neck c6/c7 and c5/c6 herniation. It felt worse during and three months afterwards. It irritated my neck. My doc did well but he was a good guy and good for him. This machine is a bunch of baloney. My other friends had the treatment and did nothing for them as well. My friend is a neurosurgeon and told me it was a joke as well.

What does this machine do? Is it similar to what traction does? If so, then you can go to a PT who does traction for a lot less.
