I had a 3 level ACDF with hardware on 09/27Monday today is Friday and I can finally swallow. Pain is minimal and I am doing light duty around the house. It was amazing how light my arms and body felt after the surgery. I am glad I did it and I am glad I found good Doctors and did not wait to do the surgery. Because of the compression on my cord the surgery was scheduled within in a month of my 1st visit. I researched and call everywhere to try and get out of the surgery but this was the right thing for me to do. I am a healthy 33year old with 3 kids. I will go for a Dr. visit for xray on Monday and we will keep track of the fusion progress I am wearing a BMP four hours a day this is to assist the fusion process. Neck brace is on for two weeks and then we will see.Just wanted to share a good note... I hope all continues well... My best to all and thankyou for your support.
