| Subluxation C5/6
Hi,
15 years ago an x-ray after an RTA showed I had an existing subluxation of C5/6. Also osteo arthritis C1 & C7.
I had no symptoms at all. The orthop Consultant was very surprised.
No treatment was offered, & no instructions.
Only in the last few years have I noticed at times my neck would be a bit stiff or I couldn't turn my head fully to one side or the other. I have heard a loud crack once or twice. Again no aches & pains, I have had to alter my sleeping pillow to prevent waking with a stiff neck.
This past two weeks or so I have had neck ache, it seems to be coming from my C7 area, its a constant dull ache, which can radiate to my shoulder blade area or give me a nasty headache. ( I have migraine starting now )
I can not take NSAIDS.
My present GP I dont think knows about my condition, my last GP who I saw recently for another procedure was careful with my head & neck. My dentist is always careful with me.
Other than this neck ache I'm not having much trouble.... should I see the Doc about it and asked to be checked out, or forget about it.
I dont know any one else with this condition.
