Haily, hopefully you will see this, I feel bad for you. I get that & it is just awful. I dont know if you have seen a doctor for it but you should. I am in pain mangament & I know my PM doc it currrently doing some injections in thet spine to see if the thoracic or cervical of contributing to this. I also have muscle damage & had shoulder surgery, but I know exactly what your talking about & yes it hurts like mad & it can give me dry heaves when the pain gets to much. It may be muscle spasms your gettting. Which I get there & chest & rib area to. You could try some moist heat or ice packs, which helps me, yes ice. Alot of people like the moist heat but honestly ice does help me more most of the time.
I hope you can get it seen to. I am sure there could be more then one cause, but you dont need to suffer. Please let us know how you are. Good luck, Sammy
