it may not have anything at all to actually do with the TP injections themselves but simply an angry nerve that is still sending signals to that muscle and casuing the contraction that they just do when they get inflammed. personally,i have probably had at least one hundred TPs over the past like eight years or so for mine,and they really didn;t seem to do too much for me. if the underlying problem(inflammed nerves) is not actually corrected,they will keep coming back.

i have tried sooo many different things for mine,but they still kept returning. the ONLY thing that really has helped the most and actually lasted is when i started a therepy called myofascial release. this therepy releases the overly tightened fascia that actually surrounds the muscles,and every other organ in our body as well. once that fascia gets overly stimulated by the nerve signals,that is what actually causes the tightening of the muscle it surrounds,so getting that released just helped me sooo much in finally getting my TPs to lower in intensity and in some of my worst spots that have been generating them for years,they have actually stopped. my therepist actually combines two different therepys into one. he does another therepy called craniosacral therepy and the myo release together, between the two of them,i simply get some relief that lasts. they TPs will regenerate if i don;t keep this therepy up at least once a week or every two at most,but it is sooo worth it for me. i suffered severe muscle damage and have spinal issues that are in my c spine as well,so anything at all that actually gives me any relief is really huge,believe me. honestly,this therepy really helps so much in getting rid of the TPs and keeping them at a much lower intensity.

i would very highly recommend this therepy to anyone who is having to suffer with the nastness of constantly generating TPs. it just really works for me. i actually had two very ugly ones kind of underneath my right shoulder blade for over ten years at least(which is when i started with the TP injections) that nothing seemed to really help. my therepist took about three sessions and actually for the very first time,got rid of those little SOBS and that constantly gnawing nasty sensation was finally gone under that blade and has stayed away for over one year now since i started the myo release. this is just something that actually gave me results and more importantly,relief after suffering for many years with what you are dealing with now. just something i really think could benefit your current situation the best. see if you can track down someone in your area that actually does the myofascial release and has at least a few years of experience in doing it. it really does help. please keep me posted in how you are doing,Marcia
