| 2-wk follow-up appt went great
I went yesterday for my follow-up appointment. My surgeon said that everything is on track. I had some concerns with the muscle spasms and he never prescribed me anything for those. He prescribed muscle relaxers and I took one last night, it didn't work. :-( I also asked him about the occasional sudden tingling and pain in the left arm, similar to what I had prior to surgery. He said it was normal and that the nerve now needs to repair itself and not to worry. Anyone else ever had that??? The first week I didn't have any of that and the numbness was gone. I'm so scared the surgery didn't work and this was all for nothing.
After much discussion, he's letting me go back to work on the 1st, half days. Yippee!!! I am so bored at home. My next follow-up is on 12/29 and I'm still in the soft collar when I leave the house, drive, do anything more than lying around.
