Help!!!
I am a long time cervical spine pain sufferer. In '97 I had C4 - C5 fused, 5 years later I had c5 - C6 - C7 fused. About two years ago the pain started to return. I spent 18 months going every 2 for the injections, then my PM doc sent me to a surgeon. I went to a new surgeon ( I know not the best idea), from the one that did the previous 2 ops.
After several test (MRI, EMG, Meylogram) and over $1,000 out of pocket the surgeon said that there was nothing he could do surgically.
Went back to the PM and was suggested to consider SCS.
Any thoughts??
My pain manifest itself right under my shoulder blades, radiating down my arms. I survive on 2 -3 vicodin (7.5) and muscle relaxers. Don't want to spend the rest of my life doing this.
