shooting leg pain
After suffering lower back pain for several months, I now have intermittent shooting leg pain down the front of my thigh leading into the inner thigh. What should I do?

It sounds like you may have a disc pressing on a nerve root, causing sciatica. You need to see your doctor, to proceed with more definite diagnosis, then conservative treatments may work for you. Physical therapy, injections, etc. Check on the Back Problems board for more information with lower back problems. The spinal cord board is more for cervical issues. Hope you get some answers and feel better soon. I have had both cervical and lumbar problems, so I can empathize.
