Exclamation Please Help me With My CT Scan !!!!!!

Well Am 21 years old and am an athlete runner, "3 months ago" when i got an alert from my lower back which was pain, so i went to my doctor for a diagnosis and eventually he prescribed for me some pain killers and multivitamins which helped at first but when i started very slightly to go back to my normal training the pain come pain with another friend numbness in my left leg and pain in the buttock "sciatica" anyways i had an MRI scan later which showed negative results for bulging disc or herniation but the pain still outcomes generously all day long. So what i did is a had a Ct scan to analyze the problem from a different prospective and the Result showed me this which i need a specialist to translate it for me in plain english please:

1) Evidence of a small left foraminal disc protrusion in noted L.V. 4-5 level, encroaching upon left exit foramina and is targeting the left nerve root at the corresponding level.

2)Normal Alignment of the lumbar spine

3)Normal size and configuration of the lumbar vertebral bodies are seen showing normal bone marrow reflection, with no focal nor diffuse bony lesion seen.

4)Normal Dimensions and configuration of the lumbar bony spinal is seen.

5)Normal CT features of the lumbar zygo-apopyseal joints.

6)Normal thickness of the ligamentum flavum.

7)No define intra nor extramedulluary expanding lesion is seen.

8)Normal appearance of the pre and para-vertebral soft tissue structures.

9)Normal CT features of both sacro-iliac joint.

This was the result which i did`nt understand anything from it but all it showed was normal except for number 1 please tell me what i can i do for treatment and what am in to . And thank you for your time and benefical guidance.

Your L4, L-5 disc is protruding onto the nerve which is causing the pain that you are experiencing...sciatica. a bulging disc. Running, as you have found, doesn't help with the pain. What has your doctor told you to do?
