`Artificial disk replacement [ADR]

Hello to you all
SORRY I have been absent from the bourd. I have been all over the place for a while with finding the right surgeon,Christmas like us all, and my grandson poorly in hospital, but all is well for him. I have made new friend, we talk a lot but GOD send, would not be without her.[angel without wings Id say]
.Last I wrote was looking for a surgeon to sort out herniated disk[now snapped in half, although symptoms remain the same. At last got great surgeon, totaly understanding.I need fusion c5/6,but have decided to go for replacement disk as this will enable me not to have bone graft, less stress on upper degenrative disks[3/4 4/5.NO COLLOUR after and yes long term results are not available but in Germany they have been going this way for years. My surgeon has done all different types of surgory, and leaves the choice to me.Asked if HE HAD MY CONDITION what choice would he make,he would go for adr.I feel happy with this, and have looked carefully at advantages/disadvantages.Made my decision, feel a little les worried, but still have thoes late night hours of pain worry, dont we all.
Surgery 5th Feb, new disk and all £7.000.00
I would like to say I truely wish the BEST TO ALL for the comming new year. Thankyou first of all to thoes of you that keep us spinniyes in touch,What would we do without you, GOD bless you in the way forward with h/b. Right you lot ,keep your strenth in body, mind & SPIRIT.........
Giving up the ciggs this week, so I dont know how socialable I will be, wish me luck, cos I am doing it new years eve[just to be different of course
New years resolutionzzzzzzzLEARN TO SPELLLLLLLLLLLLLL
CATCH YOU ALL SOON....on a mission

Shey,
Just had to answer your post, cause this is where we started...Thanks for all the smiles you've given, and please do not make any New Years resolutions that change you too much---cause you're perfect just the way you are. (Ok, quit smoking---that's it...LOL)Talk to you soon. Happy New Year! Love,
