effects of x on spinal cord?

I have a question reguarding the effects of extacy (mdma) on the spinal cord. I heard that it does something to the levels of fluid or something like that? Does anyone know anything about this? I use to party on this drug heavily a few years back at clubs (which I don't reccomend to ANYONE)and now I have many, many back problems. I am wondering if this could be the reason.

Re: effects of x on spinal cord?

I have read it a few places on the computer. I have also heard it from other people, but I didn't know if it was true or not.

Re: effects of x on spinal cord?

I've never heard of MDMA damaging the spinal cord, but it does cause damage to the brain (still part of the central nervous system). The short-term include changes in brain chemistry and behavior. The long-term effects include changes in brain structure and behavior. It causes learning and memory problems and impairs your brain's ability to use serotonin (which is extremely important in regulating your moods/emotions). The effects can be short term, long term or permanent - depending on the amount you took and the length of time you used MDMA.
