Lump in throat feeling after ACDF

1.5 years ago I had 2-level ACDF for herniated discs in neck (one pushing on spinal cord) I still have 2 cervical discs that are herniated and one that's bulging but neuro doesn't want to do any more surgery until I'm older (I'm only 47 now) and we're trying to do pain management for severe muscle spasms and discomfort. However, it's been over a year but I'm still getting that lump in the throat feeling when I bend down, or do any type of light exercises. Even walking on treadmill will cause the feeling to return, or bending down to pick something that I've dropped.

Has anyone with 2-level cervical ACDF experienced this feeling well after a year? The "constant" sensation went away a month or so after surgery but since then it's only when I move in certain ways. Was hoping this would go away completely one day...I guess not?

Thanks
