Re: questions for peeps

I had a lot of trouble swallowing pills, so I used applesauce and yoghurt and it helped a lot. Putting all my bathroom stuff on the counter so I didn't have to bend down was helpful too. I also used those big baby wipes that you can find near the depends to freshen up the first week when I couldn't shower. If I can think of anything else I'll post later. Good luck with your surgery.

Re: questions for peeps

Those squishy gel ice packs were nice when I wanted cold packs for my shoulder blades. Heating pad.
Pill splitter incase of jumbo size pills. Yogurt is great the suckers slide right down.
Button down sweaters and shirts. If you are going to have a hard collar the button down shirts help.
Chewable vitamins and chewable calcium.

Sleeping? I slept in my own bed with lots of pillows in various configurations. But to be honest, once I got the right muscle relaxer on board I could have slept on a bed of nails and thought I was sleeping on a cloud.

I bought some from Walgreens-2/$10. They were great. I could take a shower the third day after my surgery. But I still used them to "freshen up" with.
