I'm back... and worried

Hi everyone,

I had 3 level ACDF (C3-4, c5-6-7) in May. My neck pain nevery went away, but the burning shoulders and left arm, and tingly fingers did go away. Now it's all back, starting about 1-2 months ago.

Going for another MRI, and then possible "injections".

Not sure whats going on, but it's definately frustrating and concerning.

Re: I'm back... and worried

Got the MRI report...lots of moderate/severe stenosis (foraminal/and canal), with some cord compression. Very discouraged!!

Re: I'm back... and worried

Given that three of your disks aren't there, any more, I wonder what's causing the compression...

Re: I'm back... and worried

Here's a copy of an email that I just received from my surgeon....Not sure what to think.

"I am starting a surgery now but as a preliminary discussion it looks fine. The measurement are a ratio between your vertebae which are quite large and the canal, so therefore it looks small at all levels. The spinal cord is NOT conpressed and all the nerves are free despite the central and foraminal stenosis.
The non-operated area looks good as well."

Re: I'm back... and worried

Obviously, he doesn't see it the same way. Can you transcribe your MRI?
