Hi everyone,
Well, Tuesday's the big day for me; single level fusion with donor bone and plating. Kiddy stuff, right? I'm pretty nervous so I hope you'll all keep your fingers crossed for me. I'll take all the prayers and well wishes I can get.
I want to thank all you guys who've posted your tales to help us newbies along. I was clueless about what to really expect from this surgery, and reading about your experiences has helped me prepare ahead of time for when I get home. I now have a 'Harpo' horn, a "Yes", "No", "I don't know" notepad, lots of pillows and my recliner at the ready.

Oh yeah, and the button front shirts I never would have thought about had I not read this board. Now, it's up to my family to let me recuperate when the time comes.
Hopefully, I'll be checking in again soon to boast about another success story. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions then, too. Take care and be well. Good luck to you all!
Lisa J.
