as i've mentioned before, he was in the persian gulf when i got my surgery done (3/28/03) and didn't tell him about it until much later because i didn't want to distract him from his duties, especially his level of alertness, so necessary while in combat!
than God, your prayers and our family's, he's home now, safe and sound with his wife and child...
i very much appreciate all of your support during that most difficult of times... recovering from surgery is hard enough without adding the turmoil of not knowing if your son is still alive... you sweet people helped pull me through with your encouraging words and i will never forget that... my gratitude is eternal
