Good luck with your surgery tomorrow. I know you said yours was later in the day and there is nothing worse (I don't think) than having surgery later.

For my neck surgery I was scheduled to be at the hospital at 10:00 AM. Then the morning of surgery the phone rang at 7:00 AM asking where I was that I was supposed to be at the hospital at 6:00 AM (it was changed the day before). Boy did that save me a lot of worrying (only 3 hours) but it also helped at the hospital because the surgeon expected me to be in the operating room by 7:00 and I was still home. They told me to get to the hospital ASAP and I arrived 40 minutes later - they went right to work on me and I was in surgery by 8:30. Definitely helped in the nervousness area.

Best thing that could have happened to me.

Thank you for being so kind.

My surgery is Wednesday, but DebbieMc is tomorrow. I hate having a late surgery time. I don't even have to be at the hospital until 1:30...so you know I will not be in the OR until 4:00ish. That makes for a very long day.

This is my second fusion so I have an idea of what to expect but this one is more extensive and I will have hardware which I didn't have before. Lots of new and exciting things to look forward to.

It was a great thing to have everything moved up for your surgery....what a nice surprise. I don't think that will happen for me but one can keep their hopes high!

Can't wait until this one is over. I will have 1 or 2 more surgeries after this one but I can only take "one at a time".
