Moms surgery Tuesday - Spinal Cord Disorders Message Board

Well its almost time. Tommorrow is the day. I am so worried, I wish I could be there with her but she didnt want the baby to have to be there at the hospital all day. So I am staying home with my son and my niece and nephew. I pray that the surgery goes well. I am also worried about her having to travel 5 hours to get home after she gets released from the hospital. The NS told her the surgery would be about 3 hours long. Would everyone please pray or send good thoughts her way for me...everything hss to be okay with my mom.

I will certainly keep your Mother in my thoughts & prayers!!

I know how stressful it can be waiting for a loved one during surgery. Your mom is right though~~ just stay with the little ones. Perhaps they will be a great distraction.

Let your Mother know that tomorrow is Canada Day!
I will wear something red & white~~& think of your mother alot.

Niki, hang it there. Your Mom will be good as new soon, hopefully better than new. This is one of the most sucessful operations out there with an 85% success rate. Try not to worry too much. I know that sounds silly and it's probably a case of "take my advice, I'm not using it," but try to keep positive thoughts flowing her way. Remember, positive energy generates positive energy.

Please post and let us know how the surgery goes. I'm having my surgery tomorrow too so I'll be looking forward to hearing how your mother is doing.
