When you are typing in your message/reply, click on the Smiles Legend link on the left side of the screen. There you will find the meaning of each icon. In the first column is the text you will type where ever you wish to insert an icon.

Unless you have a good memory, this can be very time consuming. The maximum number of icons allowed in a post is 8; however, I was only allowed to enter 7. Believe me, if you exceed this amount, you will lose your post and have to start all over.

I'm glad this helped. It takes a bit more concentration than I would like also. I do have one more suggestion for those times that you do want to add "Gremlins". When you open the "Smiles Legend" link, print this page out so you don't have to go back and forth. Also, if your adding very many, first type it in Word, then copy/paste it in. This way, if you get a message saying you've exceeded amount, or whatever, you won't have to retype your post.
