I have MRI with me but can't get the report from my NS or from place that did it. The NS hasn't returned my phone calls. Have shocks from left elbow to ring and pinky finger now, this is new. Also have alot pain on right shoulder and arm this also is new. Neck is still in alot of pain. Neck has grinding/crunching sounds in it when trying to turn it at times. I had acdf c5-c6 with donor bone and no plate or screws. I know something is definitley wrong. Does anybody know what the area of c5-c6 should look like if it is fused. I don't think it is and maybe that is what the grinding noise is bone on bone moving around as there is no plate to hold it in place. Maybe little pieces are on the nerves that go to these new places of pain and shocks. I dont't know I am not a doctor. I am 3 months post op. Sure wish I knew what was going on in there. Maybe I should just go to the emergency room then maybe I wouldnt be dismissed so easily. Too many maybes and not enough answers for a serious problem. I just hope and pray nothing happens before we know what is going on. I am going to wear by brace again as it will help stabilize my neck atleast. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want another surgery as I sincerely felt the most pain I have ever felt in my life after the last one. No pain meds other than the 20mg oxycontin that I had already been on for 3 months before surgery. NS did not order anything. Ive had 3 children natural and 1 c section and that was a breeze compared to what I felt like when I woke up after acdf surgery. Dont want to scare any one, I just believe my NS is full of it, and has no compassion for his patients.
