 Well that was fun!
Well,
that was interesting! I had my epi today without sedation. Not fun at all. I am still in pain 8 hours later. They almost didn't do it, because I am on antibiotics for an infection and my temp was 100, but they did it anyway. I would have been fit to be tied if they hadn't done it, as I have been waiting for 6 weeks for this one. I felt the steroids all down my arms and into my chest. The steroids definitely went where I have been having pain, so I know the PM hit the right spot.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that this time the injections will help. I am taking tomorrow off from work, due to the pain and the fever. I am finally getting the point that I need to take care of myself, before taking care of others.
Anyone else have the epi's without sedation? How much pain were you in afterwards?
Anyway, have the second one in 2 weeks.
Hope everyone is doing well tonight.I'm taking my hot pack to bed with me, and tomorrow should be a better day.

C4-5 noncompressive disc displacement
