Memory issues after stress?
I have memory and thinking issues that I believe are related to stress. My question is, is it possible for the symptoms to affect me when I'm not feeling anxious? For example, I've been feeling stressed out off and on for about a month now. I feel like I'm starting to calm down, but I still have memory and thinking issues even when I'm not thinking about anything stressful or feeling stressed. Usually when I FEEL stressed, I have symptoms like light dizziness, nausea, or headaches. If I've been calm for a couple hours, sometimes I'll still have trouble with long term memory.
Also, I used to get really stressed out 3 years ago, but I don't remember having as many memory problems (no pun intended.) Is it possible to have different or new stress symptoms?
My doctor doesn't seem too concerned, but I don't know.
Please enlighten me!
