I take both zoloft and buspar. I've been taking both for about 4 or 5 months now. I have been feeling better than I have for a while now. But for me, its still too soon to tell. I also take trazodone to help sleep.

Re: does any one take buspar and Zoloft together?

Thank you .. I have depression and social anxiety. I have a weight problem and I have been on every diet know to man and well not a pound comes off. So I think that people laugh at me cause I am too fat.
But I am hoping that the zoloft helps me with the depression and a small amount of buspar helps with the social anxiety. Will it make me restless, will I need a sleeping pill???

Re: does any one take buspar and Zoloft together?

Everyone's body is different. I take zoloft and buspar in the morning because I get more awake after taking it. Tried taking them at night but had problems sleeping, even with the trazodone. Zoloft may make some people gain weight. I actually get less hungry after taking it, though I haven't lost any weight.
I used to be almost 300 lbs, lost half of it, then gained back 50. I'm around 210 now. Don't care what people think about my weight. I'm the one that carries it, not them. I've also been on both sides of the issue. The less I made my weight the issue, the more people respected me for my personality. The weight stopped being an issue in their eyes. I'd rather have an overweight friend than a friend who constantly diets to maintain a skinny body. I find most people who obsess about staying skinny are self-centered, insecure, and immature. Please don't think I am referring to you because I am not. Those who obsess about their weight (when already thin) think only of themselves. I know, I've been there.
Best of luck to you!!
