When I hear things like that I cannot complain. I mean young people having strokes, my mom is 87 y. old and she was very active and in good health until when the stroke happened. She is not well right now, they couldn't put the feeding tube in today because her laryng is swolen, she keeps pulling the tube out all the time even with her hand tied to the bed. It is amazing how she manages to do that in her condition, she hardly moves her good arm at this point.
It is too early for your dad to improve, I am sure he will. The only setback would be another stroke. The bad thing is that nothing can be done about preventing it, so sad.
Keep me posted. I am Greek live in Greece, I lived in Los Angeles for 7 years many years ago.
I have a vacation rental in Athens that I rent to tourists and I have a lot of guests from the u.s.
