My Mom suffered from a stroke she came home fine after a week in the hospital she had carotid artery surgery. However she suffered another stroke a day after her release in the left side of her brain she can no longer talk or move her right side. She also sleeps all the time like you said your brother is. I read sleep is the best thing for them so their brain can heal. Is your brother doing better at all?
