TIA or Stress?

Hi,

Something unusual happened to me and don't know if this is something that I should run to the doctor with like TIA or stress induced...

I am a male 29 Years old. I am ususally very high energy and always pretty wound up. Have also a pretty stressful job where I work fairly long hours and tend to stress out fairly easily over work-matters as well.

Had a stressfull week and big annoucements were to be made last wednesday. Those announcements weren't favorable, I was taking it very cooly and anticiapted those. However after two cups of expresso I got a headache and fog over my brain. Got very tired, my eyes started aching, and couldn't focus at work at all. The headache wasn't painfull or throbbing...but more like a fog and pressure descendet on my mind.

The headache and foginess started to get less and less but on Thursday I started getting a backache and in the afternoon after a nap, the vision in my right eye went worse. (not like it was gone or super blurry but off...enough to notice)...have glasses (1.5 year old prescription) but they didn't make the blur go completely away...On Friday night the backache was so bad that I had to sleep on the recliner after 3 ibuprofens...On Saturday the headache and foginess was almost gone, but my vision was still sligtly off and not I could swear that my right hand (also same side as my eye problem) started to tingle a little and feels colder...

Now I don't want to drive myself nuts...The headache and sudden fog and lack of concentration were sudden...the rest came days later...does this sound like TIA? or should I post this on the stress board... no pun intended. Thanks for sticking with me on this post..its just never happened to me and I am freaking out a little.

Thanks

Matt

Backache is generally not a symptom of TIA. It sounds to me like its stress. And TIA's are sudden tempoary strokelike symptoms. That recede usually within hours or less. The blur would not generally stick around until the next day. Don't freak out over this, as this leads to more stress and maybe more symptoms. Relax and watch, should you remain concerned, a good checkup never hurt anyone. Good Luck and RELAX Betty
