Have you ever had a full neurological eval by a good neurologist?this does sound like something more than just anxiety alone.it really does appear that there could be something going on with some other body system.have you had a FULL and TOTAL physical with labs to check on just how well all of your body systems are actually functioning,like the thyroid and other basic functions along those lines?when certain systems are not running right they can show themselves in ways like with sysptoms such as yours.docs just love to blow off the more 'out of the box" type symptoms and will attribute them to things like anxiety or depression,you know the catch all Dxs?this could also be more neurological,something with the way the brain is functioning,or not functioning?
Unfortunetly,in order to get the appropriate care that we need,in this day and age where all docs are just so busy and have way too many patients to keep track of,you really really need to push it sometimes to even really get noticed,you know what i mean.The squeeky wheel gets the grease??Anytime that you feel something is just 'not right" and your doc just blows you off or gives you some stupid Dx that you know is much more you need to push him/her for more answers.Fainting that often or even once or twice IS something,or the symptom of something and it needs to be found out.Sometimes Dxs just are not easy,but when you have a doc that does not seem to really care about you or your medical issues well trying to actually get any sort of real Dx is next to immpossible.if your current doc does not feel that this is something more than plain anxiety,you have two choices.sit down with your current doc and explain what you need.Just tell them that something is just not right here,I can feel it and it is much more than just anxiety.you are my Dr,please help me find out just what my problem is.If they do not respond in a favorable way,then find another doc who will.you DO deserve to know what your medical problems are so they can be properly treated.you have to advocate for yourself as there is no one who can do a better job at that than you,trust me.Between myself and my youngest son,we have seen more docs and specialists than I think i can even count.we both have many many major medical issues we have to deal with and have I found that the very best way to deal with any docs is the direct approach and expect it back.just push it till you get the answers.sorry i could not offer you much in the way of 'real" help.just start telling your docs what you expect and need.hopefully they will do their jobs for you.Please keep me posted on whjat you find.good luck,FB
